Base Salary

$220k - $405k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap and technical strategy for agent-driven cloud infrastructure management.
  • Design and operate cloud networking fabric, including VPC architectures, private connectivity, and peering with hyperscalers and neocloud providers.
  • Architect and scale Kubernetes/EKS compute platforms, autoscaling groups, and mixed CPU/GPU fleets across regions.
  • Build and maintain secure, isolated multi-tenant, single-tenant, and customer-owned cloud deployment topologies, including cross-account networking, identity, and policy guardrails.
  • Implement multi-region availability, failover, data locality, traffic routing, regional capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Partner with security to deliver BYOK/KMS integrations, network isolation, auditability, and other enterprise controls.
  • Develop automation, tooling, and runbooks for predictable provisioning, upgrades, and incident response across environments.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of industry experience building and operating production cloud infrastructure, including leading complex system designs or migrations.
  • Deep experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPC design, routing, security groups, load balancing, and private connectivity.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes/EKS and container orchestration in multi-cluster, multi-region, or multi-account environments.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud networking and peering, including VPC peering, Transit Gateway, private link/service endpoints, or comparable neocloud constructs.
  • Experience building or operating secure, isolated enterprise environments such as single-tenant, BYOC, or on-premises deployments, ideally with BYOK/KMS integrations and compliance constraints.
  • Proficiency with Terraform and strong software engineering skills in at least one of Python, Go, or Rust.
  • Strong debugging and incident management skills across distributed networking, compute, and platform systems, including root-cause analysis and long-term remediation.
