Base Salary
$178k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term technical vision and architectural roadmap for FuzeRx’s platforms.
- Write clean, optimized, and maintainable code for critical system components.
- Own the reliability and performance of core platforms, optimizing PostgreSQL workloads.
- Act as a technical consultant and mentor to engineers across multiple squads.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Pharmacy Operations to align technology with business objectives.
- Architect systems with privacy by design, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and build prototypes to de-risk new initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with 3+ years as a Tech Lead or Architect.
- Expert-level mastery in Ruby on Rails or Python, and proficiency with PostgreSQL and AWS.
- Proven track record of designing and scaling high-volume API-led platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex architectural trade-offs.
