Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end integration architecture for the MyCDW platform and oversee ServiceNow integrations with TAPR, SMTAP, and Platform Management.
- Define API, event-driven, message-based, middleware/iPaaS, and data-exchange standards and governance.
- Architect the agentic harness, including AI-agent guardrails, monitoring, instrumentation, and safe operations across connected systems.
- Implement AI-based and rule-based automation, predictive analytics, orchestration, and automated workflows at scale.
- Design solutions for performance, resilience, security, compliance, observability, and resource efficiency.
- Evaluate integration, automation, and agentic-AI platforms through benchmarking, prototypes, and proof-of-concept projects.
- Establish coding standards, reusable patterns, architectural guidelines, quality assurance processes, testing procedures, and monitoring tools.
- Partner with application architecture, engineering, development, security, product, customers, and sales stakeholders.
- Create and maintain integration registers, runbooks, architecture diagrams, design decisions, and technical specifications.
- Resolve complex integration and automation issues and provide technical guidance during development and deployment.
- Balance technical needs with budget constraints and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and technology selection.
- Track emerging automation and agentic-AI trends and recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 10 years of IT experience, including software/integration development and systems architecture, or 14 years of IT, integration development, and systems architecture experience.
- Deep hands-on expertise in enterprise integration architecture, including REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven and message-based patterns, iPaaS/middleware, ETL, and webhook/streaming integrations.
- Experience designing large-scale, complex integration and automation solutions, ideally centered on ServiceNow.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools, frameworks, automated workflows, and orchestration at scale.
- Expertise in artificial intelligence principles and applications, including AI-driven, machine-learning, and agentic automation solutions and their governance, monitoring, and instrumentation.
- Experience developing integration and automation strategies aligned with organizational objectives and leading teams or influencing strategic decisions across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation, foster innovation, and manage organizational change.
- Understanding of network architecture, security principles, infrastructure management, PCI DSS, SOC 2, and regulatory requirements for data in motion.
- Strong software development methodology and architectural-pattern knowledge, plus experience across applications, data, infrastructure, security, and cloud services.
- Excellent strategic problem-solving, communication, presentation, collaboration, leadership, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and engage customers and sales teams.
- ServiceNow Integration Hub, MID Server, iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi, and agent/automation framework experience are preferred.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
