Base Salary
$132k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure agent-driven services and systems for autonomous task execution.
- Develop infrastructure and high-throughput APIs supporting agent memory, communication channels, skills, decision logic, security, and workflow management.
- Integrate agents with backend services, data stores, vector databases, search and retrieval systems, and external APIs.
- Translate agent use cases into production-ready software in collaboration with product managers, AI researchers, data engineers, and UX teams.
- Ensure reliability, monitoring, observability, metrics, logging, fault tolerance, and operational quality for agent components.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and participate in code reviews.
- Build frontend tooling around agent management interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience and 3+ years of production Python experience.
- Daily experience using agentic coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and other agentic coding platforms.
- Experience building distributed systems, microservices, or complex backend APIs supporting AI or agent workflows.
- Experience integrating AI models, agent frameworks such as Langraph and Agent Harness, vector databases, and large-context reasoning services.
- Understanding of agent orchestration patterns, state management, and asynchronous workflows.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker and Kubernetes; and operational engineering practices.
- Understanding of performance optimization, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building AI agents that coordinate multi-step actions, reasoning, or autonomous decision-making loops.
- Contributions to open-source agent toolkits or SDKs.
- Experience with React and TypeScript for agent management interfaces.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
