Base Salary
$153k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Shape and evolve the experimentation platform, including feature flags, instrumentation, data quality, and reporting loops.
- Lead the design and implementation of experiments supporting activation, engagement, and expansion.
- Partner with product, design, and data teams to refine hypotheses, define measurable outcomes, and interpret results.
- Balance rapid iteration with long-term architectural health and security.
- Improve code quality, observability, and performance across the team.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and pairing.
- Identify technical opportunities that unlock new growth mechanisms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a production SaaS environment.
- Strong experience building backend services with a modern language such as Go, Node.js, Ruby, or Python.
- Deep experience with React and/or TypeScript in customer-facing web applications.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation, analytics, and defining meaningful success metrics.
- Ability to operate autonomously, drive initiatives, and influence technical direction.
- Strong collaboration skills and a growth mindset.
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to experimentation-driven product development is preferred.
- Familiarity with Amplitude, Looker, or Qualtrics is preferred.
- Experience in security- or compliance-sensitive domains is preferred.
