Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy internal applications supporting technology lifecycle, collaboration, service delivery management, data, and business intelligence.
- Create reusable modular pipelines and ingestion frameworks for loading data from multiple sources into data lakes and data warehouses.
- Migrate on-premises data pipelines to Google Cloud Platform and deploy reliable, scalable data solutions.
- Collaborate with analysts and business process owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Apply technical design, development, configuration, testing, documentation, issue resolution, and clean modular coding practices.
- Use Pulumi, GitHub, Cloud Build, Cloud SDK, and Docker in CI/CD processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of experience as a GCP-certified data engineer or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in software development, data engineering, business intelligence, or related work involving dataset manipulation and processing.
- Coding experience with Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Expertise with GCP data warehousing technologies including BigQuery, GCP Workflows, Cloud Scheduler, Secret Manager, Batch, Cloud Logging, Cloud SDK, Google Cloud Storage, and IAM.
- Exposure to Google Dataproc and Dataflow.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for advocating technical solutions to engineering teams and business audiences.
- Willingness to work the 3 PM to 12 AM IST afternoon shift.
