Responsibilities
- Develop automation frameworks and automated test cases for Zscaler Client Connector features.
- Expand automation coverage and testing infrastructure to improve quality and efficiency.
- Create exhaustive test plans and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Investigate complex customer and production issues, identify root causes, and clearly document defects.
- Collaborate with Development, Product Management, and cloud Operations teams from design through product release.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer working on VPN-related products or network-traffic testing and automation.
- Proficient programming skills, preferably in Python, with hands-on experience developing automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test cases.
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, ICMP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS, and DHCP.
- Proficiency in networking fundamentals across L3, L4, and L7, as well as proxies, firewalls, routers, and load balancers.
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within a functional domain.
- Experience implementing AIOps, AI-driven predictive scaling, or automated anomaly detection is preferred.
- Experience configuring VPNs and GRE/IPSec tunnels is a plus.
- Experience setting up testbeds in a virtualization environment is preferred.
