Base Salary
$69k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Document coding projects through code comments, software architecture, and flow diagrams.
- Understand technical design specifications and independently deliver quality code.
- Develop Java and Spring Boot microservices and web applications.
- Work with Java and microservices design patterns, integrations, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Perform unit testing and use development and collaboration tools.
- Drive technical issues to closure and communicate effectively with team members.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with Java microservices and Docker.
- Hands-on experience with Java design patterns, including Observable and Factory.
- Hands-on experience with microservices patterns including circuit breaker, API Gateway, database per service, and event-driven architecture.
- Hands-on web development and unit testing experience, including SonarQube and JUnit.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
- Experience integrating microservices hosted on Azure Cloud; knowledge of Azure services and AKS is preferred.
- Experience with IntelliJ and GitLab.
- Experience working in a highly functional Agile team, such as Scrum.
- Strong communication and interactive skills.
