Responsibilities
- Develop software for signal waveform preprocessing, analysis, and post-processing across signal types including PAM4.
- Develop test software for measurement systems used in the electrical testing of laser diodes and VCSELs.
- Design and implement testing and automation methodologies using image processing and machine learning.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to develop test solutions for manufacturing deployment.
- Perform data analysis, hardware interfacing, multithreaded programming, system programming, and software integration.
- Improve and maintain proprietary test-suite software using C/C++, VB.Net, C#.Net, and Python.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering with a strong foundation in digital signal processing.
- 2–4 years of code-development experience using C/C++, C#, .NET, Python, or MATLAB.
- Experience with signal processing for high-speed data communications.
- Advanced programming skills in .NET languages and Python, focused on digital signal processing and analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis, hardware interfacing, multithreaded programming, and system programming and integration.
- Strong understanding of high-speed digital data concepts and signal processing techniques.
- PAM4 signal-processing experience is advantageous but not required.
