Base Salary

$140k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Analyze compiler performance degradation and functional defects, identify regression root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Automate compiler testing, test execution, reporting, build environments, and test environments using NVIDIA frameworks and programming.
  • Track compiler performance changes, investigate outliers, monitor trends, and maintain historical performance data and baselines.
  • Develop and review test plans, implement and automate test cases, integrate tests into NVIDIA test management frameworks, and author test reports.
  • Work with compiler developers and cross-functional teams to resolve regressions and improve testing and quality processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a software development or test organization.
  • Deep understanding of high-performance computing, software testing methodologies, and software development life cycle practices.
  • Understanding of compiler implementation and demonstrated problem-solving ability.
  • Experience writing test plans, developing and automating tests, executing tests, and reporting results in a production environment.
  • Programming or testing experience with C, C++, CUDA, and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, triage, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience testing production software, particularly compiler or system software.
  • Preferred compiler development, compiler verification, compiler testing, or performance analysis experience.
  • Preferred experience with NVIDIA CUDA Toolkit, Linux debugging, Git, Perforce, JIRA, Confluence, Make, and statistical analysis tools.

  • Competitive base salary of $140,000–$224,250, plus equity and a comprehensive benefits package.
