Base Salary
$153k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Enhance and develop customer-facing SDKs and libraries for Neon builders.
- Maintain and extend Neon’s TypeScript SDK, CLI, MCP server, and other developer-facing tools.
- Create videos, tutorials, sample projects, blog posts, and other developer-focused educational resources.
- Speak at conferences and events and engage developers through online communities such as Discord.
- Grow the Neon community and strengthen relationships with application and agent developers.
- Create and manage creator, ambassador, open source, and other developer-focused engagement programs.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, program managers, and fellow advocates to deliver an agent experience strategy.
- Collect, analyze, and communicate community feedback to improve product experience and influence roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Developer Advocate, software engineer, solutions architect, or related professional.
- Professional experience building and shipping software or data solutions.
- Ability to own outcomes and deliver with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to create impactful technical content for developers.
- Deep empathy for developer needs and the ability to provide clear answers in community spaces.
- Mastery of at least one core advocacy skill, such as public speaking, technical writing, live demos, or curriculum development.
- Applied expertise in relevant product components and the ability to translate them into practical guidance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Active involvement in developer communities such as meetups, forums, open source, or user groups.
- Experience collaborating across functions to achieve shared goals.
