Base Salary
$170k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect secure, scalable Azure Government cloud infrastructures and network connectivity.
- Design cloud-native data platforms, pipelines, and analytics architectures.
- Automate cloud provisioning with Terraform, ARM, and Bicep.
- Implement Azure Active Directory, RBAC, least-privilege access, encryption, and NIST-aligned security controls.
- Apply DISA STIGs and CIS benchmarks and lead architecture reviews and documentation.
- Drive FinOps optimization and advise engineering teams on cloud best practices.
- Migrate NTIA’s unclassified and Secret Spectrum Management Systems to Azure Government environments.
- Modernize applications through configuration-level changes, Azure PaaS replatforming, or Azure IaaS rehosting.
- Use the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well-Architected Framework.
- Enhance the security and administration of Spectrum IT systems operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of cloud engineering or architecture experience.
- Technical training, certification(s), or a degree, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Terraform/Bicep, networking, automation, and security.
- Experience with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well-Architected Framework.
- Familiarity with Ansible, PowerShell DSC, and modern development tools and languages.
- One or more relevant certifications, such as Azure Architect, Azure Engineer, or CISSP.
- Active Secret or higher security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
