Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java backend services, APIs, and Spring Boot microservices.
- Build high-performance systems capable of handling large-scale workloads and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Implement JWT authentication, synchronous service calls, and Kafka producers, consumers, and asynchronous event architectures.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security while contributing to technical decisions and system design.
- Participate in code reviews, work independently with accountability, and mentor junior developers.
- Own delivery end to end from design through implementation and delivery.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
- Three to five years of experience is listed under the mandatory skills, while total experience is also stated as five to nine years.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, large-scale systems, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and strong problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Java design patterns, distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, performance tuning tools, and Agile development.
