Base Salary
$103k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Detection & Response across Product, Cloud, Corporate Infrastructure, and Identity telemetry.
- Translate technical requirements into milestones, manage task delivery, and drive cross-functional project execution.
- Design and implement scalable detection-as-code and actionable alerting in Google Security Operations SIEM/SOAR.
- Develop detection logic and playbooks for application-layer abuse, account takeover events, and sophisticated social engineering.
- Lead security incident investigations, containment, and cross-functional communication during EMEA hours.
- Advance Mixpanel’s threat intelligence program and translate tactical intelligence into SIEM/SOAR logic.
- Maintain the operational health and telemetry flow of SentinelOne, GCP Security Command Center, and Mimecast Incydr.
- Build automated security workflows and pipelines across the security technology stack.
Requirements
- Experience operating across Product, Cloud, and Corporate Security programs.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management, threat modeling, and secure code reviews.
- Deep understanding of the detection-as-code lifecycle and experience converting telemetry into actionable alerting for high-scale SaaS environments.
- Ability to manage diverse security operations including vulnerability triage, policy violations, and suspicious activity investigations.
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Cloud Logging, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub, for automated security data pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python for automated workflows and security-tool API integrations.
- Comfort leveraging AI and LLMs for alert enrichment, incident summarization, and AI-assisted code analysis.
- Preferred experience with dark web monitoring, brand protection, adversary tactics, Security Champions initiatives, deception techniques, EDR, email security gateways, cloud-native security centers, vulnerability coordination, external scanning, or bug bounty programs.
