Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage SIEM, IDS/IPS, and CWPP security platform technologies.
- Develop and implement security monitoring and logging strategies.
- Investigate security incidents, identify root causes and impact, and perform containment and remediation.
- Conduct forensic analysis of suspicious activity.
- Automate security tasks and workflows.
- Deliver, operate, secure, and maintain private-cloud deployments for critical customers.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule outside core business hours and over weekends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or platform engineering roles.
- Experience with technical troubleshooting and Python, Go, or Bash scripting.
- Experience with Kubernetes security, including workload isolation, RBAC, network policies, containerisation, orchestration, and observability tools.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Active or obtainable Developed Vetting (DV) UK security clearance.
- Preferred certifications include GSEC, CISSP, CISM, or OSCP.
- Preferred experience includes Kubernetes threat and anomaly detection, service mesh security, workload identity, detection engineering, logging pipeline development, SIEM tuning, and security-focused open-source or internal security platform tooling.
