Responsibilities
- Lead and govern enterprise Digital Identity software development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications, Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, and web applications.
- Collaborate with solution architects and Agile project teams on physical architecture, feasibility, technical guidance, and software solutions.
- Analyze implementation impacts and risks to support robust and scalable solutions.
- Create technical and procedural documentation and review peer code, testing artifacts, and documentation.
- Support deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
- Provide governance and oversight of solution design and contribute to internal engineering standards and frameworks.
- Consult junior staff and oversee the quality and compliance of complex project deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience.
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
- Proven experience developing enterprise applications with Java and Core Java.
- Experience building and maintaining Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Java testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with Apigee API management.
- Knowledge of JWT tokens, OAuth authentication, authentication and authorization services, and web services.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture, risk assessment, application delivery, and IT standards.
