Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions for complex business needs using existing and emerging technology platforms.
- Write, test, deploy, maintain, and debug software.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and Spring Boot microservices.
- Improve application observability using Dynatrace and Elastic Stack for performance analysis, logging, querying, and root-cause investigation.
- Support deployments and diagnostics across multiple environments using CI/CD practices.
- Prepare required technical and procedural documentation.
- Lead and influence engineers without direct authority and resolve complex production, performance, and reliability issues.
Requirements
- Advanced Java expertise, including Core Java, Spring Boot microservices, JUnit, and mocking frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation, Git, authentication and authorization services, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Apigee.
- Experience improving enterprise application observability and hands-on experience with Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and root-cause investigation.
- Experience using Elastic Search or Elastic Stack for centralized logging, querying, and correlation, plus understanding of distributed-systems monitoring, metrics, and tracing.
- Experience with Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD pipelines, enterprise DevOps practices, and multi-environment deployment support.
- Ability to lead and influence engineers without direct authority and resolve complex production, performance, and reliability problems.
- Bachelor’s degree and typically 3 or more years of relevant or direct industry experience; a comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred skills include application development, business management, customer solutions, design, group problem solving, process improvement, release management, software solutions, and UX design.
- No required certifications or licenses.
