Responsibilities
- Participate in design discussions and enterprise architecture forums while aligning applications with technology and customer delivery goals.
- Analyze existing systems and design optimized integration solutions across upstream and downstream platforms.
- Lead the architecture of cross-functional, multi-platform, web-based applications using containerization and cloud technologies.
- Define reusable components, platforms, interfaces, data models, databases, architecture standards, and enterprise application blueprints.
- Provide technical guidance to application teams, consult on system integration and data migration, and review low-level software designs.
- Design microservices, APIs, event-driven distributed systems, high-volume low-latency applications, and caching mechanisms.
- Define DevOps practices and infrastructure as code solutions using specified tools and technologies.
- Design data extraction applications that transform unstructured and semi-structured data into structured formats using AI/ML techniques.
- Monitor microservices and establish performance engineering, optimization, security, and compliance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CIS, MIS, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- At least 8 years of experience architecting enterprise solutions based on microservices and event-driven architecture, including SOA-based web services and REST- and SOAP-based APIs, in or for the financial services industry.
- Experience leading application architecture and design across cross-functional, multi-platform, and web-based systems using web services, containerization, and cloud technologies.
- Experience creating application architecture blueprints with Microsoft Visio or Atlassian Gliffy.
- Experience defining reusable components, platforms, interfaces, data models, databases, architecture standards, and enterprise integration solutions.
- Experience providing technical guidance to development teams, consulting on application integration and data migration, and reviewing technical software designs.
- Experience defining DevOps practices and tools using Bitbucket, Jenkins, uDeploy, and Artifactory.
- Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code using Ansible, Docker, and Terraform.
- Experience designing microservices and APIs with Java Spring Boot and Python, and monitoring microservices with Logscale and Dynatrace.
- Experience integrating applications with AI/ML and applying performance engineering and optimization standards using Dynatrace and jMeter.
