Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end technical solutions and future-state architectures for Wealth Management applications and customer- and advisor-facing digital channels.
- Develop application roadmaps, architecture blueprints, architecture decisions, technical designs, and related artifacts.
- Analyze solution viability against product timelines, budgets, quality requirements, enterprise strategies, and current-state constraints.
- Present solutions to business and technology stakeholders, certification boards, and the Architecture Review Board.
- Act as the lead technical authority for programs or projects and provide guidance to delivery and development teams.
- Collaborate with data architecture, security architecture, infrastructure specialists, enterprise architecture, business architecture, and third-party partners.
- Manage application portfolios based on technology currency, business agility, technology evolution, business fit, efficiency opportunities, and total cost of ownership.
- Design, develop, and lead proofs of concept to assess new technologies, tools, and solutions.
- Facilitate architecture reviews, decision-making, problem-solving, and technical meetings.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of solution architecture experience.
- Experience with event-based architecture, cloud-based deployments, SQL and NoSQL databases, and API- and microservices-oriented applications.
- Knowledge of mobile and web application design, data modeling, database design, security, and infrastructure.
- Ability to evaluate options, make decisions, and execute in a complex technology environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, consultative, communication, facilitation, written, and verbal skills.
- Nice to have experience with .NET Core, C#, React, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
- Nice to have working knowledge of financial or investment concepts and applications, business or product leadership, design thinking, and customer-centric design.
