Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement components for systems and tooling platforms.
- Develop and optimize cloud video frameworks, audio/video processing, streaming technologies, low-latency systems, and scalable cloud-based media solutions.
- Participate in field testing and support deployments at live sporting events.
- Partner with product teams and customers to refine and deliver solutions.
- Champion high code quality and continuous improvement.
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural and design decisions.
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- Proficiency in modern C++, ideally through C++20.
- Experience writing multithreaded, performance-optimized code.
- Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio, and debugging workflows.
- Required experience with networking, including the TCP/IP stack and streaming protocols.
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Cloud architecture knowledge, preferably AWS, is a bonus.
- Experience with FFmpeg, audio/video processing, multimedia applications, hardware interfacing, network protocols, or UI development is a bonus.
- Passion for sport or experience working in high-performance environments is a bonus.
