Responsibilities
- Define and evolve security architecture patterns, standards, and reference designs for secure-by-design product development.
- Partner with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams on secure system architectures, API design, low-level design, and data models.
- Lead threat modeling, security design reviews, and risk assessments for complex product initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership on authentication, authorization, encryption, key management, and secrets handling controls.
- Guide the safe integration and operation of AI/ML-enabled and AI-driven solutions, tools, and workflows.
- Influence product roadmaps and technical decisions by aligning security architecture with business, regulatory, and operational needs.
- Drive secure-by-design practices, security automation, telemetry, monitoring, and continuous improvement across product domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent related professional experience.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands-on product or application security experience designing secure architectures for services, APIs, and data models in complex distributed systems.
- Experience owning security architecture for a significant product area, service group, or domain from design through implementation.
- Strong knowledge of secure software development, identity and access management, cryptography usage, cloud-native security controls, and AI/ML-enabled systems.
- Preferred experience defining security architecture patterns at scale for multi-service or domain-wide cloud-native ecosystems.
- Preferred experience leading security architecture for highly available, high-throughput, data-intensive, and API-centric systems.
- Preferred experience with formal threat modeling, security design reviews, security automation, telemetry, monitoring, and CI/CD integration.
- Preferred experience governing model security, data protection, responsible AI use, and secure operation of AI/ML-enabled products.
- Preferred expertise using security metrics, risk scores, and telemetry to prioritize investments and improve security posture.
