Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers through the pre-sales process.
- Build successful partnerships with Account Executives focusing on business discovery.
- Participate in qualification, demonstrations, and technical presentations during the sales cycle.
- Develop expertise on customer needs and Twilio's communications technology.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to articulate Twilio's solutions.
- Create and present complex presentations and product demos.
- Understand customer businesses to identify and solve their challenges.
- Build trusted advisor relationships and present innovative solutions.
- Contribute to the Solutions Engineer community by sharing knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 5 years in a technical pre-sales role in CPaaS or Telecom.
- Solid understanding of the sales cycle and pre-sales engineering.
- Experience with voice protocols, SIP implementations, or messaging APIs.
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate.
- Strong storytelling skills to communicate complex topics effectively.
- Ability to ask insightful questions to understand customer needs.
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms and cloud application architectures.
- Experience writing code in backend or web development.
- Familiarity with designing and consuming REST APIs.
