Responsibilities
- Build new backend connectivity services supporting millions of virtual machines on Databricks.
- Lead the design and development of services connecting the control plane and compute plane.
- Improve compute-plane scalability and cloud-resource efficiency.
- Collaborate with product management, operations, and engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable networking systems.
- Solve multi-cloud and distributed-systems challenges as a hands-on technical leader.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of production-level experience with Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- A networking background and experience designing scalable systems are sought.
