Responsibilities
- Build new backend connectivity services powering millions of virtual machines on Databricks.
- Lead the design and development of services connecting the control plane and compute plane.
- Improve compute-plane scalability and cloud-resource efficiency.
- Develop robust, scalable, and efficient networking systems for multi-cloud and distributed environments.
- Collaborate with product management, operations, and other engineering teams.
- Contribute as a seed member helping establish the Bengaluru Networking Infrastructure team.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of production-level experience with Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language.
- At least 3 years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch.
- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with service-oriented architectures.
- Networking background and experience solving distributed-systems challenges.
