Base Salary
$160k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and build scalable platform components using Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, and React.
- Build and maintain distributed systems, real-time pipelines, and core microservices.
- Lead code and architecture reviews to ensure high standards for reliability and performance.
- Drive adoption of modern infrastructure practices such as CI/CD and containerization.
- Own and deliver impactful projects end-to-end, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to reduce toil and improve developer workflows.
- Participate in production support responsibilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend systems or infrastructure.
- Expertise in Node.js and modern development patterns (TypeScript/JavaScript).
- Experience designing and scaling distributed systems with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and containerization tools.
- Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms and systems design.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
