Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive security framework for hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
- Investigate and implement end-to-end encryption for data at rest and in transit.
- Design and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and modern authentication protocols.
- Establish secure, auditable remote access solutions for engineers.
- Troubleshoot and harden networking configurations in industrial environments.
- Audit and secure infrastructure deployments using IaC tools.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to security-related incidents.
- Work with customer IT teams to ensure compliance with security requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience with encryption standards, RBAC, and multi-factor authentication systems.
- Hands-on Linux systems engineering and networking experience.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Ansible.
- Development experience in Kubernetes and managing security in containerized environments.
- Proficiency in Python or Go for building security tooling and automation.
- Strong communication skills and customer empathy.
- A self-starter who takes initiative and seeks ownership of security solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building and maintaining secure systems.
- Demonstrated experience in distributed systems security and cloud-native infrastructure.
