Responsibilities
- Take technical ownership of dedicated project modules or streams.
- Design and implement new features.
- Refactor and improve the existing codebase using standard methodologies and SOLID principles.
- Participate in code reviews and coach or mentor less experienced team members.
- Collaborate with the QA team on feature implementation and bug fixes.
- Contribute to the company’s software development community and promote new ideas.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Java EE, Spring, Servlets, web services, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Experience with client-server technologies and software architecture practices.
- Understanding of databases, UI frameworks, and deployment environments.
- Experience with Git and application servers such as Tomcat and Jetty.
- Practical experience with unit testing, continuous integration, build automation, and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Agile Scrum or Kanban principles.
- Experience with Angular.
- Very good English; German is a plus.
