Base Salary
$175k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work directly with utilities and government agencies to integrate Promise’s technology into their existing systems.
- Understand customer data and complex problems, then develop practical technical solutions.
- Improve and extend Promise’s products based on firsthand deployment and customer context.
- Travel to customer sites occasionally, up to 40% of the time, to support deployments and strengthen relationships.
- Collaborate across engineering, design, product, delivery, and sales.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building and deploying production software.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role balancing empathy with technical rigor.
- Willingness to learn JavaScript, TypeScript, ETL tools, SQL, and React rather than requiring expert-level proficiency in each.
- Ability to adapt quickly, investigate problems independently, experiment, and document solutions.
- Strong collaboration, ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
