Base Salary
$325k - $425k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality web applications and back-end services.
- Add functionality to existing systems and improve usability, quality, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product management, and end users to create strong user experiences.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, support, and mentorship to geographically distributed team members.
- Deliver feedback to the business while working in an agile team with continuous deployment.
Requirements
- A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and two years of experience as a Software Engineer or related occupation.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field and five years of progressive Software Engineer experience.
- At least one year of experience developing web applications with HTML, CSS, and ES6.
- At least one year of experience designing, implementing, and consuming REST APIs using Java, C++, Python, Ruby, Node.js, or Go.
- At least one year of experience with a JavaScript MVC toolkit in a single-page architecture, including Angular, Dojo, React, Vue, or Backbone.
- At least one year of experience working with and mentoring geographically distributed teams.
- At least one year of experience delivering performant, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces and APIs.
