Responsibilities
- Own features through the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Build maintainable, reliable, and scalable software solutions for the music analytics platform.
- Source, extract, and integrate disparate data from the open web and other sources.
- Develop APIs, backend services, databases, data pipelines, and data warehousing solutions.
- Debug systems and contribute to testing, monitoring, and incident management.
- Collaborate with engineering teammates and leaders to deliver impact and continue professional growth.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of backend or full-stack development experience.
- Ability to creatively and reliably source, extract, and integrate disparate web data.
- Strong debugging skills and a solid understanding of testing, monitoring, and incident management.
- Knowledge of AWS or other large cloud computing environments.
- Strong understanding of APIs, backend services, databases, data pipelines, and data warehousing.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, Postgres, TimescaleDB, Snowflake, TypeScript, React, React Native, and AWS is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong ownership, impact orientation, and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
