Responsibilities
- Design and develop Azure-based solutions using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, APIs, Angular, and React.
- Develop supporting services, automation tools, integrations, background workers, and AI-enabled workloads using Python and .NET.
- Build cloud-native applications with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and AKS.
- Implement data and event-driven solutions using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Table Storage, Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hubs.
- Develop custom services, APIs, microservices, serverless applications, container-based solutions, and infrastructure using Bicep or Terraform.
- Create automation and integration scripts with Python, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and containerized deployments with Docker.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using Application Insights, Log Analytics, OpenTelemetry, and structured logging.
- Write unit, integration, and component tests to maintain solution quality and reliability.
- Build AI and generative AI solutions using Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot, embeddings, vector search, and RAG patterns.
- Contribute to agentic AI solutions and apply responsible AI, security, and data privacy principles.
- Use GitHub Copilot, Azure Copilot, and other AI-assisted tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the Technical Architect and cross-functional distributed teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering and Azure-based solution development.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, EF Core, and Web APIs.
- Practical experience with Python for Azure automation, integrations, or AI-enabled workloads.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for frontend development and API integrations.
- Understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns including microservices, event-driven, and serverless architectures.
- Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, AKS, or Azure Container Apps.
- Strong knowledge of Azure SQL and/or Cosmos DB and experience with Azure Service Bus.
- Understanding of Entra ID, managed identities, and secure access patterns.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, Docker, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure as code with Bicep and/or Terraform.
- Familiarity with Azure monitoring, logging, and telemetry.
- Awareness and practical exposure to Azure AI Services and Azure OpenAI.
- Understanding of generative AI concepts including large language models, prompts, embeddings, and RAG.
- Ability to integrate AI capabilities into applications using .NET and Python SDKs.
- Experience using Copilot or similar AI tools in day-to-day development.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.
- Pro-code engineering mindset with attention to quality, scalability, maintainability, and extensibility.
