Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and business objectives to propose effective technical solutions.
- Prepare effort estimates, technical approach documents, high-level estimates, quotes, and functional and technical approaches.
- Develop, code, unit test, peer review, and maintain software solutions.
- Plan and manage releases, rollouts, patches, schedules, and release notes.
- Support pre-sales activities with technical input and high-level estimates.
- Collaborate with customers and project teams on requirements, specifications, and proposed solutions.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues by providing code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and deployments across customer time zones.
- Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and support end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline; MCA and MSc in Computer Science are also listed as alternatives.
- 5 to 7.5 years of total experience.
- Experience with Java, Ext JS, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
- Prior experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other WMS platforms is advantageous.
- Experience in test management and test execution.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience using Cursor AI, Replit AI, and GitHub Copilot for development, code refactoring, and unit testing.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, and database tools.
- Experience with source code control systems such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, including command-line usage.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for issue and project tracking.
- Ability to evaluate competing solutions, make informed decisions, provide technical guidance, and communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
