Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.
- Build backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and support modern web applications using Angular.
- Design and consume REST APIs and web services.
- Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, architects, and engineers to deliver business solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Support cloud-native application development and deployment within AWS.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Contribute to platform modernization, third-party integrations, and continuous improvements.
- Own assigned work items and proactively drive delivery in an Agile, pull-based work model.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in software development, system integration, database design, and back-end architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or a master’s degree/diploma in Computer Science.
- Typically seven to eight years of relevant software engineering experience is preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, Angular, AWS, and REST APIs/web services.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, modern software engineering practices, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Preferred AWS experience with EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Adobe Experience Manager experience is preferred.
- Experience in product-based organizations, financial services or investment management, secure digital platforms, and customer-facing applications is preferred.
- Experience working across both frontend and backend development.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, ownership, collaboration, independent problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
