Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Java-based full-stack applications.
- Develop scalable backend systems, server-side logic, APIs, microservices, and event-driven services.
- Build and maintain front-end components using React, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including architecture, documentation, coding, testing, delivery, and production operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical leadership, and Agile/Scrum teams to deliver sprint goals and establish technical standards.
- Develop and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
- Leverage GitHub Copilot and other AI tools to improve development efficiency and propose AI-enabled product approaches.
- Analyze performance and coding issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement defect resolutions.
- Identify, communicate, track, and mitigate technical risks and bottlenecks.
- Streamline or automate recurring architecture, build, delivery, production operations, and business processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
- Minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
- Extensive experience with Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of modern application architecture, data structures, and object-oriented principles using Java.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven services, cloud-native application development, service-oriented architectures, REST, and GraphQL.
- Ability to develop both front-end and back-end components of robust web applications.
- Experience with Java, Python, or similar languages for server-side logic and API development.
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, relational database management systems, and Oracle.
- Experience designing and implementing high-performance RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
- AWS experience is considered an advantage.
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA.
- Ability to automate unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise or comparable code versioning tools.
- Practical experience using AI tools to enhance development workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, escalation management, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
