Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Java-based enterprise applications across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop backend services, APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build front-end components and user interfaces using React, HTML5, and CSS.
- Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs and integrate relational database solutions using Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Develop and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum delivery processes, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to sprint goals and technical standards.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and propose AI-driven product approaches.
- Analyze application performance and coding issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement defect resolutions.
- Identify, assess, track, and mitigate technical and delivery risks while optimizing recurring processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
- At least 8 years of software development experience, specializing in Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of modern application architecture, data structures, object-oriented principles, service-oriented architecture, and microservices.
- Experience developing both front-end and back-end components of robust web applications.
- Proficiency with Java, Python or similar server-side languages, React, HTML5, CSS, SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database systems, particularly Oracle.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working with GraphQL, event-driven services, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
- Experience with AWS is an advantage.
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum processes, and JIRA.
- Ability to develop and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Experience with GitHub Enterprise and code versioning practices.
- Practical experience using AI tools to enhance software development workflows and awareness of evolving AI technologies.
