Base Salary
$92k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot software using object-oriented programming and Java.
- Support new development and operational software systems on an agile development team.
- Work with containerized, microservice, and event-driven architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Use Git for branching, merging, and resolving merge conflicts.
- Perform software system integration, testing, deployment, and related automation.
- Provide operational support and travel approximately 10% of the time.
Requirements
- Level 2 requires a science bachelor's degree with 2+ years of software development experience, 0+ years with a master's degree, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Level 3 requires a science bachelor's degree with 5+ years of software development experience, 3+ years with a master's degree, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Current and active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required at the time of application.
- Experience with Java, object-oriented programming, Docker, Docker Compose, container networking, Spring, Vue, Git, Elasticsearch, and Maven is required.
- Preferred qualifications include Jenkins, GitLab, continuous integration and deployment tools and practices, software integration and deployment automation, and strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- U.S. citizenship is required for positions requiring a government clearance.
