Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and maintain scalable infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability systems, and runtime environments for trading systems.
- Administer and tune AWS Aurora, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse databases.
- Automate provisioning and configuration of EC2 and related resources using Ansible, Terraform, and other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Design secure VPCs and manage IAM governance, encryption, secrets, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Build and maintain metrics, alerts, monitoring, and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Enforce GitHub repository and branching standards across development teams.
- Monitor and optimize AWS and containerized infrastructure usage, performance, and costs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to containerize services and tune runtime performance.
- Evaluate and integrate AI and LLM tools for automation, diagnostics, and operational efficiency.
- Communicate complex systems to technical and non-technical stakeholders across global teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience in high-availability, real-time systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and RDS, plus AWS cost-monitoring tools.
- Experience provisioning and configuring infrastructure with Ansible; Terraform experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with ClickHouse and PostgreSQL; kdb+ or InfluxDB knowledge is a bonus.
- Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or an equivalent language.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and deployment automation.
- Experience with monitoring and logging stacks, including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience with IAM, encryption, and secure system design.
- Ability to optimize computing resources while maintaining performance within budget constraints.
- Comfort using AI tools for automation, diagnostics, or efficiency improvements.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English; Chinese or other languages are a plus.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills in a global team.
