Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and senior engineers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
- Ensure solutions comply with architectural standards, security guidelines, and engineering best practices.
- Use AI technologies, prompt engineering, coding assistants, agent-based workflows, and AI-powered tools across the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, deployment, and test automation.
- Monitor systems, respond to incidents, and conduct root cause analysis and remediation.
- Research emerging technologies and develop proofs of concept to improve product performance and development efficiency.
- Maintain design, implementation, and operational documentation.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and automation efforts.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement, estimation, project planning, and prioritization.
- Collaborate with technical leads and senior engineers while contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java 8 or higher and Spring Boot.
- Understanding of Azure public cloud and cloud-native development, with exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Oracle or similar systems.
- Understanding of SQL, data modeling, microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI development tools, including prompt engineering, code generation, testing, documentation, debugging, and design acceleration.
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Experience with TDD and BDD software development practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
- Preferred exposure to Terraform, Ansible, data pipelines, ETL, Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, LangChain, and Semantic Kernel.
