Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Appian solutions for workflow automation and modernization.
- Develop Appian user interfaces, process models, record types, integrations, business rules, and data structures.
- Build and support integrations with enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, software engineers, and operations teams.
- Participate in solution design, estimation, sprint planning, testing, and release execution.
- Troubleshoot application issues and improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Support Appian platform upgrades, application enhancements, and adoption of new capabilities.
- Contribute to development standards, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Appian development experience.
- Experience designing and building workflow applications using Appian.
- Strong knowledge of Appian SAIL Interfaces, Process Models, Record Types, Expression Rules, integrations and Web APIs, security, and application configuration.
- Experience integrating Appian with enterprise applications, databases, and cloud services.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational data modeling concepts.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: Appian Certified Associate Developer or Appian Certified Senior Developer certification.
- Preferred: experience with business process automation, workflow modernization, AI-enabled workflows, intelligent document processing, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, REST APIs, Kafka, MuleSoft, event-driven integrations, regulated industries, production support, application lifecycle management, mentoring, or development best practices.
