Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud-native microservices and integrate new features into Portworx products.
- Perform design, development, unit and functional testing, code reviews, documentation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Debug product and performance issues in large-scale clusters using AI tooling.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to move solutions from initial design to production.
- Own design and development activities, incorporating customer feedback and resolving issues found during testing and customer deployments.
- Experiment with new technologies to advance and innovate solutions.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science.
- 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise products, with Golang preferred.
- Strong understanding of microservice architectures and cloud-native platforms.
- Experience designing and owning microservices in distributed systems scaling to thousands of nodes.
- Expert debugging skills and ability to solve ambiguous problems at scale in public and private cloud environments.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including product management and customer beta partners.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Willingness and ability to work in an open office environment.
