Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium with Java.
- Develop and execute API automation test cases using Karate and ReadyAPI/SoapUI.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to identify automation opportunities.
- Build reusable automation scripts using existing automation frameworks.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation test suites.
- Identify, log, track, and validate software defects using Jira.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve defects.
- Integrate automation suites with GitHub Actions and Jenkins for continuous testing.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Analyze automation results, investigate failures, and perform root-cause analysis.
- Improve automation frameworks, processes, and test coverage.
- Perform browser compatibility testing using SauceLabs and Perfecto.
- Debug code and analytics tags in web or mobile applications.
- Perform end-to-end manual QA of digital experiences.
- Monitor performance and set up synthetic monitoring for digital experiences.
- Track open delivery projects, remove blockers, and deliver against release windows.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring while managing stakeholder and client relationships.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in software quality engineering, SDET, or UI and API automation testing.
- At least 3 years of experience with automated testing practices and generating automation scripts.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Java, Karate, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, and automation frameworks.
- At least 1 year of experience debugging code and analytics tags using Chrome developer tools, Charles, or similar tools.
- At least 1 year of experience performing manual QA of digital experiences end to end.
- At least 1 year of experience monitoring performance with tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Blue Triangle.
- At least 1 year of experience setting up synthetic monitoring using tools such as Blue Triangle or Dynatrace.
- At least 1 year of project management experience tracking delivery projects and release windows.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, or a related field.
- Preferred skills include SauceLabs, Perfecto, Chrome DevTools, AI/LLM testing, Python/PyTest, and knowledge of IoT devices and networking.
- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, client management, communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, ownership, decision-making, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership skills.
