Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy an AI-assisted game test automation and continuous testing framework.
- Develop modular, reusable, and portable automation libraries for native, web, mobile, cloud, and social-media game applications.
- Create automated tests for APIs, user interfaces, graphical image comparison, portability, scalability, high availability, performance, and related quality areas.
- Integrate automated tests with CI pipelines, test and defect-management tools, and reporting dashboards.
- Collaborate with development, SQA, and tools teams to identify automation opportunities and achieve test coverage goals.
- Support and mentor junior engineers through training, technical guidance, and problem solving.
- Maintain the test automation framework, data center, and execution environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field.
- At least five years of software test automation experience on large-scale programs.
- At least three years of professional experience developing and deploying AI/ML-based automation solutions in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with open-source test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, Cucumber/Gherkin, and Rest Assured or an equivalent web-service automation tool.
- Experience with Perforce, Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tools, and SonarQube or an equivalent code-quality tool.
- Advanced experience with one or more of C#, Python, JavaScript, and HTML5.
- Advanced experience with cross-platform game engines such as Unity 3D and Unreal or similar technologies.
- Extensive experience developing unit, integration, API, smoke, system, and browser-compatibility automation for product teams.
- Experience working in highly automated enterprise software environments with large test volumes running through CI pipelines.
- Ability to communicate automation best practices, coding standards, automation strategy, and tool usage, and to mentor others.
- Strong written and oral communication, collaboration, organization, independence, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Native console, web, and cloud-based gaming application experience is preferred.
- Employment may require gaming or other licenses, background investigations, security checks, or other regulatory and contractual requirements.
