Base Salary
$220k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product leaders to define strategic initiatives, identify customer problems, and translate requirements into technical execution.
- Build and maintain complex full-stack product features and systems end-to-end with strong reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Develop observability and metrics for smooth operation, proactive issue detection, and continuous improvement.
- Lead technical design discussions, mentor teammates, conduct code reviews, and help establish engineering standards.
- Contribute to building the engineering team through recruiting, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience with strong front-end and back-end experience.
- Experience building large-scale, high-performance, mission-critical systems supporting complex customer workflows and large-scale data processing.
- Interest in large language models and building systems that support and leverage them.
- Ability to ramp quickly on TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Apollo GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Proven ability to design, architect, and scale backend systems in production.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to independently scope, plan, and lead projects in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Product-minded approach and passion for building intuitive, intelligent customer products.
