Responsibilities
- Build trusted technical partnerships with strategic hardware manufacturers.
- Lead technical integration projects from planning through launch.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align priorities.
- Drive technical discussions and architecture reviews with stakeholders.
- Write clear technical proposals and design documentation.
- Monitor project health and coordinate solutions across engineering teams.
- Investigate and resolve complex SDK and API integration challenges.
- Help improve tools and processes for partner development.
- Contribute to the long-term evolution of Spotify's hardware platform.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or partner engineering.
- Experience with software development, SDKs, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Ability to read and contribute to production code and discuss technical architecture.
- Experience building relationships with engineering teams and external partners.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Clear communication of technical concepts for different audiences.
- Experience with consumer electronics or connected devices is valuable.
- Experience writing technical specifications or architecture proposals is an advantage.
