Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Articulate and evangelize technical vision for the assigned domain.
- Decompose complex problems into practical, operational solutions and ensure technical design and implementation quality.
- Provide authoritative guidance on performance, scalability, operability, and other non-functional system characteristics.
- Modernize monolithic systems into microservice architectures and event-driven platforms.
- Define long-term platform strategy, API standards, coding standards, and design standards with engineering and architecture leaders.
- Lead cross-divisional projects and architectural reviews that advance technology practices.
- Contribute deeply hands-on while mentoring engineers and strengthening the technical capabilities of engineering and product teams.
- Create communications, code samples, blog posts, and other materials to share technical knowledge.
- Mentor engineers, support professional development, and help recruit technical talent.
- Balance multiple projects and maximize organizational impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Preferred 10+ years of experience with software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, web technologies, distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture.
- Preferred 10+ years of professional coding experience with languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
- Preferred 8+ years of experience with databases and database management systems.
- Preferred 10+ years of professional experience across the full system development lifecycle.
- Preferred 5+ years with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred 10+ years of experience with networking protocols and third-party distributed-system integration.
- Preferred 5+ years mentoring senior engineers and driving professional development within technical teams.
- Preferred 2+ years leading cross-domain architectural reviews and establishing coding and design standards.
- Expertise in the strategic application of agentic AI coding tools is preferred.
