Base Salary
$140k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build custom integrations connecting Profound’s platform to enterprise systems.
- Write production-quality TypeScript, Python, and Next.js code for client-specific features.
- Architect solutions for enterprise-scale data volumes and security requirements.
- Debug complex issues across client infrastructure and Profound systems and optimize performance for clients processing millions of daily queries.
- Lead technical discussions, workshops, training sessions, proofs of concept, and architecture presentations for client engineering teams and executives.
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and build trusted relationships with Fortune 500 technical stakeholders.
- Partner with Product to identify reusable solutions, contribute to core product development, and influence the product roadmap.
- Build reusable components and libraries, document technical solutions, and create implementation guides.
- Design data pipelines, dashboards, reporting solutions, and automation workflows connecting AI insights to business processes.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience working with production systems.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Next.js, and React.
- Solid Python experience for backend development and data processing.
- Experience with REST APIs and system integration patterns.
- Database experience including PostgreSQL and time-series databases.
- Comfort working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Rust experience is a plus but is not required.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort presenting to and building relationships with executive audiences.
- Experience working directly with enterprise clients.
- Strong problem-solving, customer relationship, ownership, strategic thinking, and adaptability skills.
