Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and maintain software products and applications.
- Analyze requirements and develop software solutions, including modifying existing products for new functionality, hardware compatibility, performance, and usability.
- Participate in development activities ranging from detailed programming to high-level system design.
- Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging using current programming languages and technologies.
- Evaluate hardware compatibility, influence hardware design, conduct feasibility studies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Complete software documentation and procedures and interface with users to define system requirements.
- Provide technical and engineering support at domestic customer sites as needed.
Requirements
- Requires a degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
- Requires 6–10 years of experience and working knowledge of software capabilities.
- Expert knowledge of C++ and MFC is required.
- Experience with hardware interface and control is preferred.
- Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, is required.
- Must be able to perform the listed office-based physical duties, with reasonable accommodation available where applicable.
