Responsibilities
- Develop a unified perspective on how cloud components are utilized across the company.
- Align deployment methodologies with reliability goals.
- Build observability infrastructure for metrics, logging, and tracing to enable rapid issue identification.
- Create monitoring and alerting systems that teams can contribute to and extend.
- Establish testing infrastructure for writing and executing tests.
- Develop tools to measure service level objectives and define organization-wide SLOs.
- Implement best practices and on-call systems while improving incident management.
- Coordinate the creation and deployment of cloud-based services, including deployment tracking and issue-resolution communications.
- Manage cloud costs and identify opportunities to reduce resource waste.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
