Responsibilities

  • Determine approaches for validating 3D profiles generated by laser profilers.
  • Select appropriate test tools.
  • Implement, verify, validate, and document a new validation platform.
  • Contribute to testing within a 3D camera development team under project-manager and test-engineering-lead supervision.

Requirements

  • Internship level 2 or higher.
  • Studies in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, or automated production.
  • Programming experience in a scripting language or C, C++, or C#.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Preferred: familiarity with laboratory tools such as a soldering iron, oscilloscope, and voltmeter.
  • Preferred: knowledge of XML, image-processing algorithms, scripting languages, and version-control systems.
  • Preferred: experience with Visual Studio.
  • Preferred: at least one completed year in an engineering program with an average of at least 2.8/4.3 or equivalent.
