Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for reading SQL Server or Oracle binary logs.
- Utilize reverse engineering techniques to improve database binary log structures.
- Debug and analyze existing code used by customers.
- Analyze new features introduced by SQL Server and Oracle.
- Participate in the maintenance and improvement of existing connectors.
- Contribute to moving a high-performance service to the cloud.
- Develop software designs and a technical roadmap for the team.
- Assist Customer Success and Go-To-Market teams with technical expertise.
Requirements
- 10+ years programming in Java, C, or C++ with a strong background in SQL Server.
- Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle binary log reading.
- Ability to write well-structured and performant code.
- Problem-solving skills for critical customer issues.
- Experience in analyzing and improving existing code.
- Understanding of building high-performance systems.
- Proficient in defining project requirements and designing software.
- Enjoy mentoring and growing junior developers.
- Analytical mindset to identify design flaws and improvements.
- Experience in breaking down customer requirements into engineering tasks.
