Responsibilities
- Analyze procurement business requirements and create technically feasible, maintainable solution concepts.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP MM/PUR solutions in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Implement ABAP-based custom developments, reports, forms, workflows, interfaces, APIs, and extensions.
- Apply CDS Views, OData services, RAP concepts, Fiori-related technologies, and UI5 where applicable.
- Ensure Clean Core compliance, architecture alignment, performance, scalability, maintainability, and upgrade stability.
- Support SAP MM/PUR integrations involving IDocs, APIs, web services, SAP CPI, and SAP Integration Suite.
- Lead or co-lead technical workstreams and collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants, architects, and external partners.
- Execute testing, troubleshoot incidents and performance issues, and support releases, transports, deployments, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Create technical specifications, test evidence, operational guidance, and support documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement, standardization, knowledge sharing, and sustainable handover to support teams.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of relevant professional experience in SAP development, technical implementation, or enhancement delivery.
- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP and ABAP Objects and SAP MM/PUR procurement-related development.
- Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, purchasing and procurement processes, custom developments, enhancements, extensions, interfaces, reports, forms, APIs, workflows, and service-based solutions.
- Practical experience with CDS Views, OData services, RAP-based concepts, Fiori-related technical concepts, and SAP integration technologies.
- Experience in international SAP implementation, rollout, transformation, or support projects and in technical collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
- Experience creating technical specifications, supporting testing, resolving defects, managing deployments, and troubleshooting productive environments.
- Knowledge of Clean Core-aligned development, modern extensibility, architecture standards, and SAP integration concepts.
- Experience with SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, IDocs, APIs, Fiori, or UI-related development is advantageous or desirable.
- Hands-on procurement, manufacturing, logistics, or industrial operational exposure is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable discipline, or IT-related vocational training combined with strong relevant experience.
- Relevant SAP certifications and very good written and spoken English are advantageous or required respectively.
