Responsibilities
- Drive the design and development of major architecture components and participate in requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Build scalable distributed systems, cloud-native services, AI-enabled workflows, and automation capabilities for the Omnissa Horizon and Workspace ONE Intelligence platforms.
- Support code reviews, design reviews, API design, technical decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration with product, security, platform, Microsoft, and core engineering teams.
- Improve DevOps, Agile, CI/CD, on-call efficiency, observability, and engineering processes.
- Train and mentor junior engineers while owning engineering initiatives and promoting technical excellence.
- Lead complex escalation engineering, including debugging high-severity customer issues, reviewing cloud configurations and deployment pipelines, documenting root causes, and reducing mean time to resolution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong foundation in architecting and designing cloud services.
- Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework, with expertise in J2EE, Spring MVC, REST APIs, LDAP, ADLDS, HTTP, SSL, multithreading, concurrency, distributed system design, and JMS.
- Experience with software architecture, cloud technologies, scalable services, API design, and enterprise software development.
- Hands-on experience with AI APIs, LLM frameworks, AI-assisted development tools, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, or AI application development concepts.
- Experience or familiarity with generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, vector databases, AI observability, AI security, governance, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, communication, customer escalation, debugging, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of C++ and Windows internals is an added advantage.
